 Proboscis Monkey  Long Tailed Macaque  Elephant at river bank Day 1: Airport Transfer. Overnight at your preferred Hotel Day 2: Drive 90 minutes to an exhilarating introduction to white water rafting. This ride down a scenic valley offers rapids interspersed with deep, calming pools. Return to Kota Kinabalu (KK) in the mid-afternoon. Overnight at your preferred hotel. (Breakfast, Lunch) Day 3: Depart for Kuala Penyu, 2½ hours drive away from Kota Kinabalu. You will be transferred to the jetty for a 30 minutes boat ride to Pulau Tiga. The Survivor Series was filmed here in 2000. Pulau Tiga Park provides refuge to several species of mammals, birds, variety of reptiles and amphibians. After lunch, explore the area and you will also have the chance to dip in the mud volcanoes (a natural mineral mud pack). You can swim, snorkel or scuba dive here. Overnight at Pulau Tiga Resort. (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner) Day 4: After breakfast, transfer back to mainland. After lunch, depart to the Garama for a wetland cruise through the mangrove swamp in search of the Proboscis Monkeys. Hop into our boat cruise in comfort, through the tranquility and serenity of mangroves, nipah palms, scrubs and secondary vegetation. Enjoy the serene setting and nature’s river trail, while the Proboscis Monkeys take a good and staring look at you, quite unalarmed by your presence. You may just be able to catch that ultimate in close up photos of such animals found only in Borneo. Other wildlife like Macaque Monkeys, the rare silver Languor, birds and reptiles, flying foxes and water buffalos would greet you occasionally, leaving you with a glimpse of nature in its undisturbed form. The cruise will take a pleasant 1½ hours approximately. While returning (weather permitting), watch the sunset as the daylight fades into dusk and thrill yourself to the spectacular experience of hundreds of fireflies lighting up the trees. Upon your return to AL-JO Riverside Café, unwind before you are served with a sumptuous traditional Malaysian dinner before returning to Kota Kinabalu.
