Depart on a 2 hr, 90km/55mi drive across the spectacular Crocker Range to the ecologically unique environs of Mt.Kinabalu. Stopping briefly at fruits and souvenirs stalls. At the Park HQ (1,540m/5,000ft), visit the Education Centre and the Botanical Garden to see orchids, rhododendrons, ferns, pitcher-plants, kerosene trees and others. Take a jungle walk near the Park HQ and learn more about th4e Montane Forest. Overnight at Kinabalu Park. (Dinner) D2: Drive to Poring Hot Springs .Trek through a hill dipterocarp forest rich in wild fruit trees and animal life, passing giant bamboos and ginger plants with edible flowers to reach a jungle – canopy walkway 40m above ground. Then relax in open air outdoor tubs filled with hot/cold running mineral waters. Midafternoon, return to Kota Kinabalu with brief stopovers at fruit stalls. Overnight at your preferred hotel. ( Breakfast/ Lunch) D3: After breakfast, proceed for an idyllic getaway on a tropical island. Explore jungle trails or snorkel in crystal-clear coral waters. Boat ride takes 20 minutes each way.
